The decision creates a very dangerous precedent for other European countries”, – said the head of the Brussels branch of David Nichols.
Despite to split the acute political crisis in Belgium, the vote in Parliament was almost unanimous – with only two abstentions.
in Belgium is very rare to see a woman in a veil or nikab, so this bill here is purely symbolic. “If you can not imagine for anyone no threat – says a resident of Brussels – the wearing of the veil thing is normal, it should be taken around them. We live in a multicultural society where everyone should respect the religion and culture of others.”
